Sadly the final Galoppen of the series (to be hosted by Lakeland Orienteering Club) had to be cancelled due some typical Lake District extreme weather. This event is to be rescheduled in January 2025. This means final scoring of the galoppen series conclude after the event at Threlkeld Knotts hosted by West Cumberland Orienteering Club.
Once again Lakeland Orienteering Club take the coveted Borowdale Trophy aided by their strong showing on the Yellow and Orange courses. Scores from three galoppen events were required to appear on the overall leaderboard.
