Galoppen Series 2026

We’re not quite halfway through the exciting Cumbrian Galoppen series for 2026. As always, the diverse and challenging terrain has brought wonderful variety to the orienteering experience. The next event hosted by Border Liners Orienteering club is currently postponed, but we’re eagerly awaiting a new date. The competition for the Borrowdale Trophy is fiercely close, with only a small margin separating Lakeland Orienteering Club and West Cumberland Orienteering Club. As has been the case, the key to success lies in attracting new orienteers to the Yellow and Orange courses. With several upcoming Galoppens taking place closer to home for LOC, this could be the game-changer they’ve been looking for!
